Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Apparatus
Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Apparatus TT-6278
Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Apparatus TT-6278 adheres to ASTM D6278 Standard Test Method for Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Using a European Diesel Injector Apparatus.
Shear Stability of Polymer Containing Fluids Apparatus TT-6278 assesses the oxidation stability of both new and in-service turbine oils and other industrial oils. It uses an oxygen-pressurized vessel to evaluate the oxidation stability of these oils, which have identical compositions (base stock and additives), in the presence of water and a copper catalyst coil at a temperature of 150°C.
1. The apparatus comprises a motor, coupler, gears, oxygen bomb tray, oxygen bomb, heater, temperature controller, touch LCD screen, and pressure transmitter.
2. The oxygen bomb features a freely rotating transmitter that can accurately transmit signals with a long lifespan.
3. Equipped with an overflow port and oil outlet, the apparatus rotates with minimal noise.
4. With 4 groups of pressure transmitters and 2 groups of baths, the apparatus facilitates easy testing.
5. Controlled via an LCD touch screen for straightforward operation, it can display real-time pressure and curves, calculate final results, and store over two hundred results. The stored data can be printed, deleted, and historical data can be retrieved for result calculations.
1. Test bombs: Four.
2. Test baths: Two groups; each with a capacity of 30L.
3. Bath temperature: Maintained at 150±0.1°C.
4. Motor rotary speed (RPM): 105±5 r/min.
5. Heat power: 2500W per set.
6. Ambient requirements: Temperature between 10°C and 40°C; humidity ≤85%.
