Saybolt Chromometer TT-156
Saybolt Chromometer TT-156 complies with ASTM D156 Standard Test Method for Saybolt Color of Petroleum Products (Saybolt Chromometer Method). This apparatus is designed for determining the color of refined oils including undyed motor and aviation gasoline, jet propulsion fuels, naphthas, and kerosene. Additionally, it is suitable for assessing the color of petroleum waxes and pharmaceutical white oils.
1. The apparatus is equipped with a matched set of sample and standard tube assemblies, complete with an optical viewer.
2. It features a three-position turret on the standard tube.
3. An accessory Daylight Light provides a standard light source according to ASTM specifications.
4. The sample tube includes a 200W steel strip heater and a hinged cover to ensure even heat distribution.
5. Both the optical viewer and stand are fully insulated from the heaters.
