Hot Alkali Washer Online Water Recycling Treatment And Reuse System (20T/H) TT-WTS20

Hot Alkali Washer Online Water Recycling Treatment And Reuse System (20T/H) TT-WTS20 - The process of washing PET bottles generates a significant amount of wastewater, with suspended matter being the primary pollutants. To manage this, a water treatment system is being designed based on the volume of wastewater and pollutant levels. The proposed system will utilize a combination of filtration, sedimentation, and air flotation processes. Once the wastewater undergoes treatment, a portion will be reused while the rest will be discharged in compliance with standards.

Treatment Technology process flowchart

Our water treatment system is primarily aimed at eliminating suspended matter from wastewater. We've used a treatment process involving filtration, sedimentation, and air flotation to achieve this goal.

Process Description

The wastewater from the washing line is initially directed to the wastewater collection pool for temporary storage.
Step 1: The water pump conveys the wastewater to the vibrating screen for solid-liquid separation. Larger particles are collected in the slag collection box while the remaining wastewater moves into the sedimentation tank.
Step 2: Once in the sedimentation tank, an online pH meter provides feedback, automatically adjusting the pH to neutral. Flocculants and coagulants are then added to initiate the flocculation reaction. The majority of the formed flocs settle, allowing clear water to rise and enter the air flotation tank, separating mud and water. The mud water is regularly discharged into the sludge tank.
Step 3: The clarified water moves into the air flotation tank, where compressed air creates micro-bubbles. These bubbles bring residual fine particles and floating matter to the pool's surface, discharged through a scraper device. The treated clean water is stored temporarily in the water pool.
Step 4: Clean water is conveyed to the filter via a high-pressure pump, and the filtered water returns to the washing line.
Sludge from both the sedimentation tank and air flotation is directed to the sludge tank, where it undergoes dewatering using a sludge dewatering device before regular transport for treatment.

2. Main Process Introduction: a.Wastewater collection tank(prepared by customer)

This collection pool primarily gathers cleaning wastewater discharged from the cleaning line. Additionally, it acts as the reservoir for the sewage lift pump, providing functions such as buffering flow changes, regulating water volume, and ensuring consistent water quality.

Designated stay time: Less than 2 hours
Type: Integrated wastewater collection pool (1 set)
Effective volume: 40 cubic meters
Material: Concrete
Location: Underground

b.Lift pump

This system is used to elevate sewage to the sedimentation tank for treatment. The design incorporates non-clogging submersible sewage pumps, known for easy installation, maintenance, and extended lifespan. Automatic start and stop functionalities are facilitated through level gauges set in the regulating tank, minimizing manual intervention.

Integrated wastewater lifting pumps (2 sets, one for primary use, the other as backup)
Power: 5.5 kW

c.Vibrating screen

At the forefront of the water treatment system, the circular vibrating screen is installed to primarily segregate larger particles within the discharged wastewater. This separation enhances subsequent sedimentation treatment, minimizing blockages and wear on downstream equipment.

Model: YZS1500 (1 set)
Main Material: SUS304
304 collection box: 1 unit

d.Integrated sedimentation tank

The integrated sedimentation tank features an inclined tube design positioned at the system's forefront. It adjusts the wastewater's pH to neutral by introducing acid, creating optimal conditions for subsequent sedimentation reactions. The pH setting in the reaction tank is synchronized with the acid dosing metering pump, ensuring automatic pH adjustment.

Simultaneously, the addition of flocculants and coagulants enables the coagulation and settling of suspended solids (SS) in the wastewater. This process separates mud and water through gravity, thereby improving water clarity.

Processing capacity: 20 cubic meters per hour (1 set)
External dimensions: L11000*W2000*H3500
Material: Carbon steel with anti-corrosion properties
Mud discharge: Equipped with an electric valve for automatic periodic mud discharge

The wastewater after sedimentation treatment will still contain a small amount of floating substances, which need to enter the air flotation tank for further treatment. Air floatation is the dissolved water produced by the dissolved gas system, which is released into the water through rapid decompression to produce a large number of tiny bubbles. Several bubbles adhere to the suspended solids or oil surface in the water, forming suspended solids with an overall density of less than 1. The solid and liquid are separated by buoyancy to make the water completely clear.
Processing capacity:20m³/h  1set
Material:Carbon steel + anti-corrosion
External dimensions:L5000*B1500*H2100
Scum pump:Pneumatic Diaphragm Pump*2set  S1FM

f. Clean water tank

This unit primarily gathers the treated recycled water while also functioning as the reservoir for the clean water pump.

Designated stay time: 2 hours
Effective volume: 40 cubic meters
Material: Carbon steel with anti-corrosion properties
Dimensions: L4000*W2000*H1500 (2 sets)

g.Clean water pump

This system is used to reintroduce the treated recycled water back into the cleaning line. It utilizes vertical centrifugal pumps known for their easy installation, maintenance, and prolonged service life. Incorporating level gauges in the regulating tank enables functionalities like high-level alarms and low-level pump shutdown.

Quantity: 2 sets (One for primary use, the other as a backup)
Power: 5.5 kW

h.Filter

The treated wastewater undergoes thorough filtration utilizing quartz sand as the filtering material. Water passes through an internal water distributor and collector within the tank, enabling high-speed filtration. This process effectively eliminates particulate matter and reduces turbidity.

Quantity: 1 set
Model: DMF3224-1A
Material: Carbon steel with anti-corrosion properties

i.Dosing System

The dosing system comprises a metering pump, reagent barrel, agitator, etc., facilitating precise reagent dosing. PAC, a potent flocculant, exhibits robust bridging adsorption capabilities, coagulating and adsorbing suspended solids in water to destabilize and settle them. Anionic PAM, a coagulant, enhances floc sedimentation when used in combination with a flocculant, thereby clarifying water quality. Cationic PAM aids in sludge dewatering, promoting solid-liquid separation.

The automatic acid dosing device maintains wastewater pH neutrality, with automatic dosing controlled via the online pH device.

Quantity: 4 sets
PAM Automatic Dosing Device: 2 sets (Three-box type automatic, 304 material, 1000L capacity)
PAC Automatic Dosing Device: 1 set (Double-bucket double pump, PE material, 2000L capacity)
Automatic Acid Dosing Device: 1 set (Single-bucket double pump, PE material, 500L capacity)

j.Sludge treatment system

The sludge treatment system comprises a sludge thickener, diaphragm pump, and filter press.

The sludge thickening tank stores sludge generated from the physical and chemical reactions in the sedimentation and air flotation tanks. This sludge is conveyed to the filter press via a sludge pump for dehydration, and the resulting dewatered sludge is transported for further treatment.

Sludge Pool: 1 set (Underground concrete structure, 10m³ volume - Customer provided)
