Softening Point of Asphalt (Ring-and-Ball) TT-36

Softening Point of Asphalt (Ring-and-Ball) TT-36 conforms to the ASTM D36 Standard Test Method for Softening Point of Bitumen (Ring-and-Ball Apparatus). 

Softening Point of Asphalt (Ring-and-Ball) TT-36 determines the softening point of bitumen within the range of 30 to 160°C (86 to 320°F) using the ring-and-ball method, with the samples immersed in either distilled water (30 to 80°C) or USP glycerin (above 80 to 160°C).

1. Features computer control, photoelectric detection, LCD display, and a micro printer.
2. Provides linear heating and even stirring.
3. Capable of performing two tests simultaneously.
4. Results are displayed on the LCD and can be printed via the printer.
5. Temperature measuring range:
- For sample softening points below 80°C, distilled water is used as the heating medium, with a range of +5 to +80°C.
- For sample softening points of 80°C or higher, glycerin is used as the heating medium, with a range of +32 to +160°C.
